Phase 1 loosely translates to requirements analysis, but includes so much more than sitting down and chatting followed by thinking and planning. This is a short, 6-12 week assessment, depending on the size of your organization. The primary outcome of this Phase is the creation of a roadmap, KPIs, and initial assessment of those KPIs to serve as a baseline. Additionally, you also decide what other consultants you need, such as an organizational psychologist or second neurodiversity consultant.
Phase 2 involves a year, two, or more of experiential learning requiring you to hire neurodistinct consultants from one (or more than one) of several firms. This phase gives all leadership hands-on experience working with neurodistinct people. This is leadership transformation at its finest, helping your managers make the JUMP to true leadership: lowered Judgmentalism, increased Understanding, increased Mindfulness, and increased Patience.
This phase is ongoing, continuous improvement. It involves making physical changes, process changes, KPI tweaks. During this phase, I will oversee the most important effort, which is assistance with talent assessment: from the front door (hiring) to the internal doors (promotion, awards, etc.) and back door (layoffs, termination), bias-free talent assessment is critical to a discrimination free workplace.
